Abstract
The evolution of the frequency of radiological procedures in France is described as it appears through the statistics of the “Sécurité Sociale” and hospitals. There is a fast increase and one can wonder on its effect on medical irradiation of population. An appendix describes how radiologists have tried with caution to avoid a parallel increase of radiological irradiation and consumption.
