Physico-chimie du plutonium*

La physico-chimie du plutonium est rappelée ici en soulignant plus particulièrement une caractéristique essentielle en matière de protection : l’influence de la masse.
De ce point de vue, il est souligné que certaines études restent à entreprendre à l’échelle des traceurs pour mieux connaître le comportement mésologique et biologique du plutonium.
Abstract
The physico-chemistry of plutonium is reviewed and one of the chief characteristics as regards protection is emphasized, viz. the effect of mass.
From this point of view, the review shows that further investigations should be undertaken at the tracer level for a better knowledge of the mesological and biological behaviour of plutonium.
