Abstract
A new method is proposed for the computation of the dose delivered to any level of the gastrointestinal tract after ingestion of radioactive substances. The same method is used as that proposed by I.C.R.P. The concentration of the radionuclide during the progression of the meal is the central concept of this model.
A graph relates the M.P.C. with the radioactive half-life of the radionuclide and with any level of the gastrointestinal tract of adults.
