Radioprotection Impact Factor and Citescore rankings reflect continued growth for journal

We are delighted to announce that Radioprotection saw an Impact Factor increase of 27%, now standing at 1.4 in the 2024 release of Journal Citation Reports™, published recently by Clarivate Analytics.

The journal also ranks in six CiteScore categories:

• Nuclear Energy and Engineering
• Safety, Risk, Reliability and Quality
• Public Health, Environmental and Occupational Health
• Waste Management and Disposal
• Renewable Energy, Sustainability and the Environment
• Health, Toxicology and Mutagenesis

Though citation metrics are only one measure of a journal’s quality, the team at Radioprotection are pleased to see the journal being recognised as a reputable source of research in these critically important disciplines.

Thanks to the support of institutional subscribers and additional financial support from the Société Française de Radioprotection (SFRP), all articles in Radioprotection will be published in Open Access (OA) in 2024 under the Subscribe to Open (S2O) model.
